Biography

As the dude staggers, in a post-coital daze, back towards his car, his driver glances back at him with a look that of either confusion or distaste. But that look could just as well be the viewer’s look of frustration after scouring over the rest of Yuri’s filmography and saying, “That’s all we get?” And that would be the sad truth of it. She’s had roles in several other films, including Gassan, Oh!The Nomugi Pass, Children of the Island, and Kuroi ie, but lamentably, Yuri’s rolls haven’t played much of a role outside of Oshishi.
